Your Role
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Governance Enablement Specialist, this is a critical role to support and improve the governance function within IIA CGU. Your role assists in developing and improving governance framework and procedures to support timely and efficient management of key risks across CGU Distribution. This role will provide support for Broker Governance activity managed within the team.
You'll execute and develop governance frameworks, procedures to confirm CGU adherence to the requirements of IAG policies, frameworks, and procedures. A critical success factor for the role is the ability to engage broadly and communicate effectively within CGU and deliver a practical approach.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and confident individual who trusts their work and shows the following:
Experience in general insurance or financial services industry
Exposure to risk management or compliance role
Strong stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, attention to details and ability to forward plan
Experience in building frameworks and implementing process improvement
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Analytical thinking, business acumen and strong problem-solving skills
Understand and manage the major issues and regulatory considerations to IAG's business
Understanding of regulatory environment in which we operate (essential)
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently
Relevant industry or specialism qualifications e.g., ANZIIF, Lean 6 Sigma
