Form of workKONVEX is looking for Technical Site Manager for join with our Installation assembly team in Australia. The successful candidates would need have knowledge and previous experience with supervising pallet racking for a big automated warehouses, attention to detail and good skills.
The main tasks include:
Supervision, coordination and technical expertise in a large-scale metal structure installation project custom designed for our Australian customer. Management of complex installation process due to proprietary technology and equipment.
- Technical analysis of the terrain
- Ensuring installation is in accordance with time schedule and engineering designs
- Organization of overseas installation material and equipment rental when necessary
- Organize and distribute daily work checklists and inspection of their trainings
- Inspection and laser measuring of warehouse slabs
- Training and supervision of staff
- Communication and alignment within rack sprinkler installation
- Oversee installation of safety fencing at the around and on top of the racking
- Maintenance access walkways and access ladders according to design specifications and layouts
- Testing the installation of the system according to specifications
- Communication with installation team and third-party equipment provider
- Generating reports for the customer and for management in Spain
- Working in accordance with Australian and global OH&S regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Maintaining company equipment and property
- Knowledge transfer to customer
- Any other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of this role
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering degree
- 2 years’ experience on architecture or installation of large-scale engineering projects
- Minimum 6 months experience related to metal installations
- Team managing experience and habilities
- Outstanding English and Spanish command (C1 level or native)
- AutoCAD, Solidworks, Sketch Up
