About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team. You must be motivated to work with and alongside First Nations community members and individuals involved in the forensic justice system. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of this inspiring community, build your own caseload, work autonomously, and be part of a collaborative team environment. Full time, part time or contract positions are considered, to suit your lifestyle.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- Independent and able to think on your feet
- Comfortable working in prisons across WA
- Comfortable doing some rural work (consisting of some overnight stays)
- An advocate for Aboriginal health outcomes
- Have a passion for Aboriginal health and forensics
- Skilled in culturally safe and appropriate service delivery
- Have a passion for working with ASD, FASD, Executive Function Disorders and Cognitive Communication Disorders

Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal communities and/or individuals involved in the forensic justice system.
- A strong understanding of cultural protocols and practices relevant to Aboriginal health and forensic service delivery.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- NDIS workers screening clearance
- Working with childrens check
