Form of workPulse have partnered with a NDIS provider and require a Speech and Language Pathologist/Therapist to join the team within the community on site, clients home or other relevant place.
The Speech Pathologist position is part of the NDIS Allied Health team which provides person-centred, allied health services to adults with a disability and will report to the Team Leader, NDIS Adult Therapy. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for efficient, evidence-based clinical service delivery to a caseload of clients who are funded under the NDIS. The Speech Pathologist will work as part of a growing team and be required to work autonomously and at a self-directed pace in order to achieve clinical targets.
The client is looking for a permanent member of staff only for full time hours to start as soon as possible. They are also offering a very nice relocation allowance, rent susidy and food allowance for the right candidate.
To be considered for the role you will need the following:
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
* Knowledge and experience in AAC, assessing function for positioning, eating and swallowing, and mealtime management
* Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (essential)
* Current NSW Drivers License (essential).
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate (essential).
* Current Criminal History Screening or willing to obtain (essential).
* Compulsory third-party insurance on private vehicle (to be used for work purposes).
* General awareness of health & safety issues.
* A minimum of one year's driving experience and a full driving licence.
