Our client is growing rapidly in the NDIS sector and is now seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join their team.

On offer is a permanent part time role of 3 days per week initially, with the opportunity to build on days and hours if you wish to. Our client also offers the following:

Your role will include travel to clients across the Gold Coast / Greater Brisbane region (vehicle provided) and will involve:
Conducting detailed speech and language assessments for NDIS participants in their community settings
Collaborate with families, caregivers, support coordinators and health professionals to develop participant-centric goals and plan services
Educate and empower participants on communication strategies and exercises
Create purposeful resources and visual supports to assist participants
Monitoring and adjusting of treatment plans to continually support the development and goals of NDIS participants
Reporting and submitting documentation to meet NDIS requirements
Accessing clinical mentors and leaders to support your growth and knowledge.
We are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:
Qualified Speech Therapist, (AHPRA registration)
Minimum 1 year experience in delivering person-centred NDIS services would be highly regarded but not essential
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver’s licence (vehicle use reimbursement is provided);
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving;
Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and a positive approach
Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
