INDUSTRIAL SPRAY PAINTER - MT THORLEY
WesTrac is seeking an experienced and trade qualified Industrial Spray Painter to join our Mt Thorley Workshop.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, our Industrial Spray Painter will be responsible for the preparation and painting of CAT machines and components. The successful candidate will have experience using modern spray-painting equipment to produce high quality work and exceptional attention to detail. Ideally you will come from a background of Automotive or Industrial Spray Painting.
This position will be offered as a permanent full-time position.
Roster & Remuneration
- Monday - Friday, dayshift only.
- 10 hour shifts + 30 minute unpaid meal break
- Annual earnings from $121,000
* Rates above are a guide only; each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience within the role
Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation and painting of CAT machines and components
- Delivering high quality work to meet customer expectations
- Maintaining paint booth and workshop cleanliness
- Preparation and application of Two Pack Coatings using airless or conventional spray equipment
- Performing quality inspections to ensure customer specifications are met
- Dedication to the safety of yourself and your mates
Skills & Experience
- Cert III Automotive Refinishing Technology
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Strong commitment to delivering high quality work to meet customer requirements
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment highly regarded
- A current forklift licence highly regarded
