The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Spray Painter to join our Team at Wales Bus Repairs in Smithfield.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to buses and coaches, ensuring a high-quality finish and enhancing their aesthetic appearance. This role primarily involves preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate paints and materials, and utilising spray painting techniques to achieve desired results. You will play a vital role in maintaining the visual appeal, protection, and longevity of buses and coaches, contributing to the overall branding and reputation of the organization.
Role responsibilities- Complete paint jobs in accordance with S.M.A.R.T processes and procedures
- Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and robots daily
- Any adhoc duties as directed by leadership
Does this sound like you?
- Be a Trade Qualified Spray Painter (essential)
- Have experience in Collision Repair industry (essential)
- Have heavy smash - truck/bus experience
- Have full Australian Working rights and valid drivers licence
