As part of their ongoing projects, they are seeking a skilled SQL Database Engineer to join their team on a 3-month contract.Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SQL Database Engineer to support our client's database management and optimization efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and providing support for data-related projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support the client's business operations and data needs.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Develop and implement database procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and maintaining database backup, recovery, and security strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support for data-related projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, schemas, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on operations.
• Conduct regular database audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Data Factory, Key Vault, Storage Account, Service
• Bus, Event Grid, API Management, Event Hub, IoT
• Hub, Stream Analytics Job, Azure SQL Server
• BI Tools: Microsoft Power BI
• CI\CD: Azure DevOps, Azure CLI and PowerShell
• Language: Python, PySpark, PLSQL, C#
• Mining experience: desirable
