The role
This role reports to the Reporting Manager. Working in the reporting team, collaborate with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements and delivery reporting solutions. Leveraging SQL skills, data analysis techniques, and reporting tools to transform raw data into accurate, actionable, and insightful reports that support operational and management decision-making processes.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs. Ensure reporting requirements are fully documented and maintained.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using industry-leading BI tools. Work with the reporting team to deliver on the reporting strategy.
- Work closely with other analysts, developers and stakeholders to deliver on required reporting.
- Track all work in Jira.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders on the delivery of reports.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of data used in reporting through rigorous validation and verification processes. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, anomalies, and errors, collaborating with data owners and stakeholders to maintain high data quality standard
- Stay updated, enhance reporting processes, ensure best practices are in place.

What we are looking for
- 3+ years experience in delivering reporting to a highly operational, service oriented business with a spread of different national clients with differing requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of data visualisation best practices, data modelling concepts, and have hands-on experience with BI reporting tools such as Power BI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, cross teams with a mix of technical areas as well as non-technical operations and management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to elicit and document business requirements
- Strong data analytical skills
- Strong SQL skills to interrogate data: queries, views, joins, data structures & relationships
- Strong PowerBI, SSRS and SSIS skills
