Permanent full-time opportunity and immediate access to Ramsay's employee benefits, discounts & rewards.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a CSSD Manager here at Hollywood Private Hospital.Reporting directly to the Deputy Director Clinical Services - Procedural Areas, the primary focus of this role will be to lead the central sterile service department (CSSD) by supporting various specialities such as our main operating theatres, Day Procedures Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, and all other areas where required.In this role you will work in an operationally fast-paced, hands-on environment while also working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years Proven leadership experience in a CSSD / Sterile Processing environment within a hospital environment

• Extensive knowledge of AS 5369 - 2023 and GENCA Infection Control Guidelines
• Certificate IV in sterilisation services OR a recognised Sterilisation certificate.
• Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail
• Strong, collaborative interpersonal communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills
• Ability to work in a busy environment and lead a team through changing priorities and work demands
• Demonstrated ability to nurture and develop team members with a focus on education, training and skill based learning
• Ability to effectively plan and manage the department with a key focus on financial, human and capital resources
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Approachable and friendly attitude
• IT Skills including the use of computerised reporting systems

Desirable

• Qualification: Diploma in Management /Leadership
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
