Stable Hand/Farm Hand

A live-in stable hand/groom/farm hand position has opened up on the Central Coast. Located in the beautiful Yarramalong Valley, a high end equestrian property spread across 20 acres of land. Fully self-contained accommodation right next to the stables, newly constructed & fully furnished and air conditioned, with internet provided.

Duties and requirements:

* Feeding am/pm (approx. 20 horses and a couple of stable cats )

* Seasonal rugging

* Cleaning boxes and stable area daily

* Exercising horses as needed

* Tacking up

* Cleaning of gear

* Riding (depending on experience)

* Mowing using a ride-on mower and tractor

* Upkeep of the arena surface

* Completing ad-hoc tasks as needed

* Occasional pet sitting

What we are looking for:

* Reliable, organised and trustworthy person with great work ethic

* Experience with caring for horses is essential!

* Friendly, approachable and easy going

* High level of horse care required

* National Police check required for the successful applicant

Hours and salary based on experience and can be flexible for the right candidate.
