About the Role
- The position will support the strategic direction and ongoing development of MSAMHS and to contribute to the overall development and quality of services.
- The position provides direct psychiatric clinical services to patients of the Division of Adult Mental Health Services (Logan - MSAMHS) and will lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering high quality clinical care to patients.
- To provide a collaborative working relationship with psychiatrists of all Divisions as well as the Executive Director of Clinical Services; Director of Allied Health & Therapies; Director of Nursing; Directors of Clinical and Corporate Governance; and Director of Recovery and Social Inclusion. This collaboration will ensure provision of evidence informed addiction and mental health care while promoting budget integrity.
- It is expected the position provides psychiatric clinical services out of business hours to the advertised locations.
- It is expected that the position will support the Clinical Directors and Division Directors of Academic Clinical Units: Division of Adult Mental Health Services (Psychosis, Resource & Access Services, Mood), Older Persons, CYMHS, and Rehabilitation.
