Remuneration value up to $484 807 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $443 589 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements

Purpose of the role
Assist in the provision of an effective, efficient and equitable Psychiatric service within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
Your opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Psychiatry including specialists in child and Youth Mental Health to facilitate the delivery of high-quality Mental Health care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (MHATODS) which includes Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):
measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
varicella (chicken pox)
pertussis (whooping cough)
hepatitis B
tuberculosis
