The opportunity…

A unique opportunity currently exists for a passionate and energetic Staffing Coordinator who can efficiently manage the day to day casual rostering, onboarding and general administration of our Townsville based portfolio which includes Queensland Country Bank Stadium and the Townsville Supercars. You will work closely with our Venue Management team to assist with onboarding and recruitment, weekly rostering for event days, uniforms, training and general administration work. Some weekends required for staff check in at Events. We are looking for someone willing to align themselves with Gema’s core values; where you will be both embraced and challenged to be your best you. Looking for a professional, friendly and approachable team player that enjoys being part of a team that is passionate about what they deliver. 

  • Willingness to be part of a great team and work in a friendly, flexible and hugely supportive team environment. 
  • Positive and friendly attitude.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with staff and clients.
  • Previous Hospitality experience would be preferred, however not a requirement.
  • Highly organized individual that is a thinker and planner with attention to detail.  
  • Display high level of tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. 

Duties 

  • Advertising, recruitment, screening and onboarding process of our casual staffing pool.  
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets. 
  • Assisting in rostering events . 
  • Keeping licensing and compliance records up to date. 
  • Event day staffing management
  • Assist with the implementation of our new time and attendance system.  
  • Assist with uniform management.
