Location: Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Queensland Security Solutions is currently seeking reliable and licenced individuals to join our dynamic team. We are offering casual positions for both Static Security/Asset Protection Guards/Event Staff and K9 Handlers across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.
Positions Available:
1. Static Security/Asset Protection Guards and Event Staff
2. K9 Handlers
Static Security/Asset Protection Guard/Event Staff
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises.
- Provide access control for authorised personnel and visitors.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms in the control room.
- Perform crowd control duties during events or busy periods.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents and report any irregularities.
- Write/type reports and maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Security Licence and the right to work in Australia.
- Must possess monitoring accreditation.
- Proven experience in static guard, crowd control, and control room monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in stressful situations.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
- Event Staff will require Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.
Work Schedule:
- Sunshine Coast: Friday and Saturday evenings/nights, some Sunday night work.
- Brisbane: 12-hour shifts with 4 on and 4 off rosters.
K9 Handler
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises.

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid QLD Class 1 Security Licence with Patrol Dog function and the right to work in Australia.
- Must own a suitable K9 with appropriate transport.
- Proven experience in K9 control and handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in stressful situations.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Multiple shifts available in Yatala, Swan Bank, and Central QLD areas.
