We are searching for one suitable person with a genuine interest in the pastoral industry to join this family operation and assist with their cattle mustering programme and other station duties. The successful applicant will be energetic and have a great work ethic, follow instructions, able to work in a team or on their own and be interested in learning new experiences.
The Property & Employer:
Our client owns and operates a Charolais cross cattle Station which is situated in the central Pilbara 150km north of Tom Price and 200km south of Karratha on the coast. Covering some 260,000 acres, with Karijini National Park is their neighbour, and Millstream Park is close by this is a beautiful part of the world.
The Offer:
Above award wages plus single room accommodation and meals are provided when working. There is only single-room accommodation. Visa applicants must be willing to work until the 30th of September, if necessary.
Your own linen or swag and your own vehicle are preferred. Your vehicle will not be used for work purposes but will allow you to have your independence on days off. There is a NO drug policy and dogs are not allowed.
The Ideal Candidate:
Applicants must be self-disciplined and motivated and able to handle long hours when that is required.
The ideal candidate must;
- be a confident, experienced motorbike rider
- be comfortable on a ctx200 motorbike
- be willing to complete general station duties other than livestock work
- Cattle experience is preferred but not essential
- Have a can-do attitude
- Driver's License and own vehicle is essential
