Job Summary:
As a Steel Frame Assembler at Frametec, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, assembling Steel Frames for various construction projects. Working closely with our team, you will contribute to the production of top-quality steel framing systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering and Architectual drawings and technical specifications to assemble Steel Frames.
- Measure and cut steel components to precise dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Assemble steel framing components
- Ensure that all assembled frames meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper storage of materials and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Steel Frame Assembler or similar role in a manufacturing environment would be helpful.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques and assembly methods - however we are willing to provide training if required
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with fabricating steel components is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials when necessary.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Welding certification is a plus.
