Your new company Our Client is one of Melbourne's largest Precast Panel Yards. They specialise mainly in large scale civil, and infrastructure works however have a strong presence within the residential and commercial sector too. Their scope of projects includes high profile freeway, tunnel and bridge projects across Australia. Having won several large ongoing projects within the infrastructure space, they have commenced long term, ongoing work and are looking for Steel Fixers and Formworkers from junior to experienced levels. Your new role I am working with a reputable company based in the West of Melbourne and they are in need of experienced Steel Fixers - If you are physically fit and looking for a rewarding opportunity then this could be for you. This is a fast-paced environment and you will be required to work to strict time frames and under supervision. Duties would include shhaping and fitting steel bars or mesh structures that are used to reinforce concrete in construction projects. You must be able to read drawings. What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong work ethic, positive and proactive attitude and show reliability and consistency to work. You will also have the following:
All relevant tickets including white card
Ability to read plans - either basic or architectural
Own tools
Supporting industry references
Valid driving license & reliable vehicle
