Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the Kitchens.
- Cleaning of all pots and dishes from the kitchen/chefs /restaurant.
- Cleaning of chinaware, glassware, silverware, kitchen hardware and other operational related items such as ovens and canopies (range hoods).
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all food preparation areas, this includes the back of house storage areas, loading docks, food buffets, fridges, freezers and staff canteen.
- Ensure that all hazardous chemicals and materials are stored in a secure environment.
- Focussing on deep cleaning kitchens and food preparation areas to meet HACCP guidelines.

This role will require the successful candidate to be rostered a minimum of 30 hours per week. Candidates with full availability encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a hospital / hotel or similar environment.
- Please note as we are an accredited HACCP Organisation, you are required to provide the following compliance food safety documents should you be successful in your application to join the company.

- Food Allergens Certificate
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks
- Quality awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Occupational Health & Safety awareness (chemical use required)
- High standards of presentation and grooming
- Be able to work unsupervised / autonomously
- Ability to work over rotating shifts
- Must be able to work across a 7 day roster, sometimes outside the hours of Public Transport
- This role requires colleagues to work in an active work environment, where manual handling tasks will be required.
