Stock Associate

Our Perth stores (West Elm, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids) is seeking a Stock Assistant to deliver a unique shopping experience through excellent customer service in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment. This role is a part-time position.
As a Stock Assistant, you will:

• Uphold store and stockroom maintenance and cleanliness standards.
• Straighten, clean and help maintain stockroom as needed.
• Ensure all appropriate stockroom procedures are followed.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
• Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

We think you'll be successful as a Stock Assistant if you:

• Have experience in a retail stock, warehouse or Back of House role.
• Have a passion for homewares and / or food.
• Succeed in a team environment but can work independently and manage your own time.
• Are successful when provided with clearly defined goals but can also use your initiative to complete tasks.
• Have effective communication and organisation skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be mobile in the store and back of house areas, including standing for long periods.
• Able to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards.
• Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30 kg, while utilising appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
