Outcross Agri-Services are an Australian owned and operated livestock service provider, specialising in the Saleyard Industry. They operate out of some of the largest selling centres in Australia.
Location
Outcross Agri-Services manage saleyards located across QLD, NSW, SA and VIC including Casino, Roma, Blackall, Wagga Wagga, Forbes, Yass, Mortlake, Hamilton, Bendigo, Gunnedah and Mt Gambier.
The Opportunity
This is an incredible opportunity to progress your career with Australia's largest livestock Contractor, who handle over 3.5 million head of cattle and 13 million sheep annually. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a market leading business, grow with it and be exposed to precision livestock management systems.
Duties will include:
- Inducting livestock into the sale yard, loading trucks.
- Livestock handling, drafting of livestock.
- Ear tagging and NLIS scanning.
- Report issues and provide feedback to senior staff.
- Occasional travel to other sale yards
The qualities and skills you'll need:
- Previous experience working with livestock would be an advantage.
- Communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team to a high standard.
- A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail.
