Qualifications & experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Preferably experience in equity operations, client services, or related roles within wealth management or stockbroking.
  • RG 146 qualification preferred; willingness to study towards if not already obtained.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with AML/KYC procedures and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills, particularly when engaging with clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As a Dealers Assistant, your responsibilities will include account opening and administration with external organizations, service agents, and clients to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between the dealing desk, external organisations, and clients.
  • Respond to client queries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
  • Quote market prices accurately and place trade orders efficiently.
  • Prepare and collate necessary information for client meetings, including financial reports and portfolio recommendations.
  • Monitor and report on settlement activities, assisting with settlement queries as needed. Assist in handling corporate actions such as IPOs, placements, and floats.
  • Coordinate with advisers on upcoming corporate actions and client needs.
  • Provide post-meeting support by following up on action points and updating client files accordingly.
