Your role will involve monitoring system capacity, performance, and availability while implementing proactive measures to ensure the protection and security of business information. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the reliability of our client's storage infrastructure.This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.About youResponsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Prepare and maintain operational procedures for storage management to ensure efficient system operation.
- Monitor capacity, performance, availability, and other operational metrics to identify potential issues and ensure optimal system performance.
- Take appropriate action to ensure corrective and proactive maintenance of storage and backup systems, safeguarding business information.
- Create reports and proposals for improvement based on analysis of system performance and operational metrics.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of new installations, as well as scheduled maintenance and changes of existing systems.
- Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV
- A background in Defence or Federal Government highly desirable
- Proficiency in storage management and implementing best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly recognize issues and opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
- Experience in backup and recovery systems and procedures to safeguard business information.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with storage technologies and tools.
