About the role
This is a unique opportunity to open and lead the newest addition to our expanding bricks and mortar fleet at Booragoon, Western Australia. Opening in April 2024, the Manager we are looking for will be ready to start training with JM as soon as possible. You will be someone who is passionate, a reliable team player who has a proven record of leading and managing stores to achieve great sales results, together with providing exceptional customer experiences and importantly create a great atmosphere where your team will thrive and enjoy coming to work.
As the leader of this store, you will be an ambassador for our company values and embody our great company culture together with leading this store through a very exciting phase of Jo Mercer's evolution.
What we're looking for:
- Someone who loves retail (and shoes of course) and enjoys leading and developing a team to see them flourish
- Experience in providing ongoing training and feedback to build a highly effective team
- Create an empowering team environment to deliver outstanding results
- Provide an exceptional customer experience and build a loyal customer network
- Initiative and implement strategies to achieve KPI's and maintain a profitable business
- Provide a supportive and engaging environment for the team
What we ask you to bring to the role:.
- Strong leadership experience with a background in managing a team
- Proven ability to engage and motivate your team to achieve KPI's
- A passion for retail and providing superior customer experiences
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- An abundance of energy, positivity, and an ability to build great team dynamics
- Experience in recruitment and developing your team
- Ability to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster
