The Role: 

Boutique manager 

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Store Manager that is passionate about curating and delivering a unique and intentional, high quality retail experience. Someone who is able to curate a beautiful brand experience for our customers and has a warm, welcoming and outgoing personality. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience as a Store Manager in fashion/lifestyle retail or a relevant industry.

• Natural passion and enthusiasm for customer service, with the ability to create a relaxed and enjoyable shopping environment

• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be working closely with our HQ team and founder

• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities

• Creative visual merchandising skills to ensure our collections are presented cohesively

• The ability to lead by example, as well as coaching and training your team to deliver a high performing retail store

• Experience with Shopify would be desirable

This is a full-time role of 38 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• To become an authority on our brand narrative, products, processes and ethos
• Build strong relationships with and nurture our VIP customers
• Liasing with HQ regularly
• Ongoing optimisation of store performance through strategic visual merchandising, quality presentation and collaboration with our marketing team
• Maintain a high level of personal presentation and store aesthetic that adhere to our brand guidelines
• Bring leadership to a team culture that promotes transparency, openness and problem solving with continuous improvement always the goal

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years proven experience in the fashion/lifestyle industry as a successful sales professional, preferably in a leadership role.
• A strategic approach to merchandising/optimising a retail space/ experience
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both customers and stakeholders 
• The proven ability to effectively manage others and grow a team
• The capacity to quickly comprehend and speak knowledgeably to all elements of Coven and Co
• A positive can-do attitude and solutions-based approach to challenges
• An eye for detail, and a passion for clothing, accessories, homewares and all things retail
