We are looking for a positive, energetic and professional individual who shares our values to take on the role of Store Manager at our Salisbury Downs store.
As a First Things First Coffee Store Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
-Leading FOH operations; ensuring flow of procedures and upholding of product quality
-Rostering
-Leading a team of up to 12 people
- Upholding / cultivating positive team culture
-Stock ordering
-Being the primary point of contact for face-to-face customer feedback
-Preparation of food and beverages
-Cleaning of store and tending to the general cleanliness of the premises
-Facilitating new products, promotions and procedures as directed by upper management
-Providing training and mentoring to staff
-Upholding of our mission, values and culture
Applicants should have following skills and competencies:

-Ability to lead and motivate a team of people
Applicants should have following experience:
-At least 5 years customer service experience
-At least 2 years experience leading a team/ teams of people
The successful candidate will undergo our thorough in-house training program covering both First Things First Coffee operational procedures as well as store-manager procedures over a period of approximately 4 months. It is important to our training process that the trainee manager experiences working some mornings/ afternoons/ weekdays/ weekends at various points throughout their training. To enable a rotating roster, the trainee manager would enter the organisation under a casual structure. At the completion of this training period employment will become full time with a Monday-Friday roster.
Position is full-time (38hrs per week), Monday-Friday
Remuneration: Salary- up to $85,000
Location: Salisbury Downs
Job Types: Full-time 12 month Maternity Leave contract (Casual until completion of training approx. 4 months). Various ongoing employment options available within the company post contract.

Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday: 5:30am- 4:00 pm and Sunday 7:30am-4:00pm, public holidays vary.
Please Note: we are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment to First Things First and become a key member of our management team. As such, working holiday & student visa holders are not suited to this role.
