About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Store Manager based in Northmead. The role supports Campbells Wholesale store, and to achieve sales and contribution as per the store budget. This role is accountable for the profitable operation of the store and its achievement of targets and budget objectives. As a custodian of customer service of the store, you'll be leading team members to provide customer service excellence and also responsible for the health and safety of customers, team members and contractors.
This role has a direct reporting line in to the Regional Operations Manager.

- Lead and manage a team

You're Likely a Match If
- Experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of wholesale / retail operations within grocery /Confectionery or Hospitality (Foodservice & Liquor) industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Financial acumen
- Possesses leadership, communication and motivational skills and techniques
- Advanced understanding of OH&S, HACCP and EEO policies, procedures and legislations
- Excellent negotiation skills with relevance to supplier deals and customers
- High organizational skills
- Ability to persuade and sell
- Make sound decisions
- Business / commercial / financial acumen
- Knowledge of MS Office applications and other enterprise systems (SAP, etc)
