We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Managerto join our Merrylands Store in a Permanent Full Time position.
As the Store Manager you will be:
- Responsible for ensuring the Merrylands store operates safely and effectively at all times
- Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
- Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.
- Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.
In order to be considered you will have:
- A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similar
- Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations
- Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement
- An Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Strong skills in people management and customer engagement
- This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint
We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience.Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs
