About the role

In this role you will be responsible for all daily store operations. This includes effectively leading and developing the team to reach sales targets, consistently delivering agreed store standards and ensuring correct compliance with our procedures. You will assist in inducting and training staff to maximise their customer opportunities, monitoring their growth and providing ongoing feedback. You will liaise directly with the business owners.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and working as part of a small team
• Organising rosters
• Overseeing and contributing to the sales performance of your store
• Engaging customers in a positive and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service
• Using a Point of Sale system to enter sales and a range of administrative and after sales duties  
• Maintaining the presentation of the store, including cleaning, tidying and moving furniture when necessary
• Assisting with the induction and training of new staff
• Providing ongoing feedback to existing staff members.

Leading applicants will:

• Have the flexibility and reliability to work across a 7-day roster including weekends
• Understand the need for superior customer service
• Have previous experience working in a management role
• Be pro-active, driven, enthusiastic and reliable
• Have an eye for detail and good organisation skills
