Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Store Person to join our team in Cairns, QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Goods Inwards
- Consignment receipt
- Order receiving
- Rejection of non-conforming products
- Batch document scanning/filing
- Return To Stock
- Tool Check-In
- Segregation of aeronautical, commercial, hazardous products
- Unserviceable and repairable product processing
- Monitor rejected products
- Scrap time expired products
- Pick, pack and dispatch products to repair/overhaul vendors
- Requisition processing
- Manual issue of products to aircraft or work orders
- Pick, pack and dispatch products
- Freight forwarder liaison
- Tool Check-Out
- Shelf life expiry reports
- Calendar control expiry reports
- Tool expiry reports
- Cyclic and annual stocktakes
- Experience with TRAX or similar software.
- Previous experience in handling aircraft parts.
- Warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift 20kg.
- Current Forklift license (desirable)
- Dangerous Goods certification (desirable)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a passion for safe work practices.
- Valid work visa, Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain), and current Manual Driver's license.
