THE OPPORTUNITYSalary: $57,369 - $61,947 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time.
Location: Drummond Street campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Ongoing position with a 6-month qualifying period.The Centre for Energy and Infrastructure at Holmesglen are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Stores Person to join their friendly team at Holmesglen’s Drummond Street campus.The position is an active hands-on role in the Holmesglen’s Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) department.Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the storage, preparation and monitoring equipment for the department.
- Assemble and distribute equipment required for training yards and workshops.
- Maintaining a safe learning environment by demonstrating manual handling techniques.
- Sourcing and Ordering stocks.
- Reporting weekly equipment cleaning and maintenance.
ABOUT YOU- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Experience in purchasing and inventory, asset management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to upkeep, maintain and organise storage spaces and organise/schedule the calibration and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Relevant trade experience including appropriate skill sets which supports the operations of a trade-based workshop.
- Hold a current valid driver’s licence.
- Preferably hold a current Fork-lift and dogman’s licence.
