- Current QLD General Safety Induction required (White Card).
- Forklift Ticket preferred.
- Drivers Licence required
Council is seeking a genuine and committed applicant to join our Works Department in Blackall to oversee our Stores in Blackall on a Maternity Relief Basis. Initially required for six months, the position may be extended if required.
The successful applicant will be responsible for control over the issue of stores, stock levels, returns and disposal of stores in accordance with Council’s Purchasing Policy and procedures. Stocktakes are required Monthly. New Employees will be provided with WHS training on commencement.
Provisions include:
- Five (5) weeks annual leave (pro-rata).
- RDO once a fortnight.
- Personal Protective Clothing.
- Up to 18% Superannuation Contributions (conditions apply).
- Entitlements under Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
