Form of workOur client, a leader in importing and distribution of Stainless Steel and Aluminium Sheet & Plate industry, are looking for a All round Storeperson to join their growing team.
In this hands-on role, you will be required to perform various manual handling and forklift tasks to assist in the running of the warehouse.
Below you will find all duties involved, however this role may not be limited to the below listed.
Shift time will be 8am - 4pm - Monday - Friday with overtime where required.
Payrate: $34 per hour.
Duties involved:
- Assisting with loading trucks via forklift
- Liasing with customers via phone and face to face
- Dispatching customer completed orders (training provided)
- General manual handling duties
- General cleaning and maintenance within the warehouse
Requirements will be:
- Ability to work in an on-going position
- Current forklift licence and operating experience (counter balance)
- Able to work independently and part of a team
- Able to follow instructions
- Willingness to achieve objectives
- Good attitude and positive attitude
- physically fit as this position involves a lot of manual handling
- Willingness to learn
- Able to work reasonable O/T
Desirable not mandatory
- Steel industry experience.
