The Role:
Currently a full-time casual position exists for an experienced Storeperson based out of our clients Perth Airport facility. We are seeking applications from experienced candidates who hold a LF licence and a HR licence.
As a Storeperson, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment where every day is different, you will leverage your skills to work in a committed team to achieve merit and drive the future of logistics in Perth.
Day to day duties include:
- General warehousing duties
- Infrequent collection of freight from the cargo terminals in a truck
- Performing putaways into designated locations
- Replenishment of stock
- Operating RF scanners
- Following client SOP's to meet customer expectations and minimise stock
- Stocktaking as required
- General housekeeping duties
About you:
- Previous experience with of scanners (training provided)
- Forklift licence (ESSENTIAL)
- Competency & initiative in warehouse environment
- Satisfactory results of a criminal background check and pre-employment health assessments
- Good level of physical fitness and manual handling abilities
- Ability to work an ongoing dayshift and weekend work if requested
- Maintain all relevant qualifications and training
- An understanding of the importance of adherence to WH&S policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible, positive, 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work fulltime hours weekly on an ongoing basis, therefore NO restrictions to working rights in Australia.
Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo a National Police background check, pre-employment health assessment and drug & alcohol screening.
