We have offices in each mainland state and provide complete industrial refrigeration solutions including design, construction and comprehensive servicing for a wide range of sectors including mining, chemical, food and beverage. Alongside engineering, GBI is one of the main suppliers in Australia for industrial refrigeration components & materials.
The role
As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for additional resource within our warehouse/ office team to refine efficiencies & improve work delivery. We require a storeperson/warehouse manager to cover all aspects of part/ equipment management and procurement within the Gordon Brothers NSW Sydney Branch. Based in Campsie and reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, we are looking for a person who is self-motivated and reliable. Someone who is flexible in their outlook, works independently and aims to improve aspects of the work they are involved in.
As well as working within the warehouse, a candidate with the right aspirations and capability can become more involved with work delivery. This can lead to future personal development within the business.
Key responsibilities Include:
- Co-ordinate material procurement for works & client material supply within NSW.
- Ensure organization and stock control of NSW spare parts.
- Ensure cleanliness & organization of all workshop floor space, storage, and work areas inclusive of meeting HSEQ requirements.
- Allocate workshop equipment for works required within NSW contract & service departments.
- Complete QA duties for equipment servicing & upkeep.
- Management and loading of good inwards & outwards.
Applicants are required to possess:
- Forklift licence.
- Possess a current valid driver’s licence.
- Familiarity with warehouse handling/ management. (Mechanical industries preferable).
