Our client is an established local organisation, who, due to ongoing growth and investment, are looking for an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This is a permanent position located on the Sunshine Coast.
Your new role
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operate a forklift to unload incoming goods
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to put away, organise and store received goods.
- Pick orders as per production requirements.
- Shuttle finished goods from production to staging area.
- Load finished goods onto trucks.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment
- Valid forklift licence and a strong understanding of forklift safety practices.
- Manual Handling ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills to support warehouse management processes.
- Display initiative, reliability and have a strong work ethic
- Valid references from the last 6-12 months.
