About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory & Assets Coordinator to join our team. You will have prior experience in the warehousing environment and excellent arithmetic skills for balancing of records.
These responsibilities include managing all parts and/or products, including recording new items into the respective stock room(s). You will be required to track each item as it enters the facility through records of what’s been sold and where those goods go. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the inventory of all supplies and products that come in or leave the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating Inventory, Equipment & Assets records
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock
- Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
- Distributing or stocking merchandise
- Stock receival and inventory
- Receipt of incoming items
- Registering customer equipment.
- Dispatching orders to customer
- Dispatching customer equipment
- Control the movement of inventory both internally and externally
- Picking and issuing items and inventory to orders
- Periodical cycle counts and annual stocktaking counts
- Investigate and resolve receipting issues
- Scheduling both collections and deliveries
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate qualification in Inventory / Logistics & Warehousing (desirable)
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of stores processes
- Have a current driver’s license
- Have a current forklift ticket (LF)
- Experience managing a small team (well regarded)
- Strong team player, with a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to liaise and communicate at all levels
- Computer literacy including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
