Your part in our Lifeline team
With a wide range of services that provide support to vulnerable individuals, families and communities in metropolitan, regional and remote locations across the State, you’ll create positive change in the lives of others when you work with the Lifeline team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Storeperson to join our distribution team.
In this role you'll:
- Be available for a 6:00am start.
- Sort and categorize the large volumes of clothing and Bric a Brac generously donated.
- Picking and processing orders.
- Operate baling machine to support export production and facilitate the storage of goods
- Manually move crates/items to ensure that the process line has a continual supply of stock
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Maintaining work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner, in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations, including moving stock and rubbish to allocated areas.
- Ensuring all paperwork relevant to your role is recorded accurately and on a daily basis.
- Be reliable and able to work within a fast-paced environment while meeting required targets and demonstrate a commitment to participating in training, following directions and have the ability to work in a team under limited supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all matters relating to staff, customers, procedures and security.
- Forklift Licence Desirable but not essential
This role involves repetitive tasks such as lifting, carrying, standing and walking for long periods. Due to the physical nature of the role it is an inherent requirement that all applicants be able and willing to do all of the above tasks with no restriction.
