Storeperson/MR Driver

Located in West Footscray, our client is an industry leader in their field and have a full time permanent opportunity to work as a hybird Storeperson/MR Driver. In this role you will play a crucial role in our document destruction process by handling the unloading of paper onto the conveyor belt. This position requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, be able to foward think and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.

Responsibilities: Operate shredding machinery to ensure the secure and efficient destruction of documents. Safely unload paper materials onto the conveyor belt for processing. Monitor and maintain the flow of materials through the shredding process.

Perform routine maintenance checks on shredding equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow. Responsible for weekly shipments of materials from the warehouse Perform security checks to ensure the branch operations are secure Monitor, adjust and maintain balers, shredder, bag houses, and overheads Operate forklifts and perform preventive maintenance on forklift equipment Clean equipment and work area as needed Completeing deliveries/daily runs as required Delivering high quality customer servie whilst out on the road.

Use computer terminal to receive and send electronic mail Knowledge, Skills and Licences You must have a valid forklift licence (LF) and MR Licence Listen and interpret verbal and written instructions as it relates to equipment maintenance and operation Physical ability to lift and move containers of paper materials. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
