They are a leading supplier of a range of quality products including air diffusers, flexible ducting, fittings, ductboard, sheet metal, zoning equipment, combustion heating components, spare parts and units.
Our now has an opportunity for a Warehouse storeperson /Trade Counter Salesperson to join their team at their Winnellie site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and dispatching goods, stock transfers, containers, supplies, and returned goods as well as serving trade customers at our front counter.
Your duties would include but not be limited to:
- General warehouse duties such as receiving and dispatching, and picking and packing of goods
- Counter sales to trade customers.
- Processing & follow up on customer orders, quotes, and telephone enquiries.
- Inventory control.
- Liaising with local customers, internal sales staff, and transport companies
- Completing paperwork and documentation with accuracy and efficiency
- Commitment to safe work procedures
- Physically fit to perform a range of manual tasks
Skills required for this job would include:
- A sound understanding of warehouse procedures and practices
- Forklift licence an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines through strong time management
- Excellent communication - both verbal & written
- Attention to detail when checking paperwork to minimise errors
- Reliable and demonstrates a "Can Do" attitude
- Have excellent punctuality and attendance
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
