About this Opportunity
Based at our Harvey Fresh Juice Site, this position is responsible for maintaining the packaging materials Warehouse.
Reporting to the Production Manager - Juice your duties will include but not limited to:
- Maintaining the packaging materials Warehouse.
- Receival and put-away of incoming stock
- Checking off goods and recording/reporting discrepancies
- Picking stock for transferring between departments
- Stock Rotation (First in First out process)
- Operating of a forklift
- Operating/Driving a Truck between sites and farms (when required)
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles/containers
- Consolidating obsolete packaging to send to off-site storage or recycling
- Assistance with stock-takes
- General warehouse duties
- Be aware of, and actively support, through your day-to-day behaviour, the Company Vision, Mission and Code of Conduct
- Enhance the areas of responsibility by adopting excellence in hygiene, operational and safety standards by focusing on good manufacturing practices including housekeeping, reducing waste, personal hygiene and conformance to procedures.
- Ensure that relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to preset standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Forklift Ticket, HR Licence (Truck)
- Previous experience in warehousing or process operation, preferably in a food / dairy manufacturing environment
- High level of attention to detail, good fault finding / trouble shooting skills
- Strong focus on quality and hygiene
- Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit
- Food processing qualifications (advantageous)
- Team Player
