What does the role involve

We have an exciting opportunity for a Storeworker to join our Warehouse team. Reporting to the, Logistics & Systems Manager / Senior Storeperson, the role will ensure that orders are picked and packed safely, accurately and on time in full. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles and containers, stock putaway, some inventory functions and housekeeping. 

Responsibilities

• Accurate order fulfilment, allocation and invoicing 
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels and managing stock control systems
• Operation of a forklift to load/unload to/from trucks and containers, stock location and storage within the warehouse.
• Facilitation of warehouse documentation
• Assisting in implementing new and improved processes to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Company
• Working autonomously and as team member to deliver daily production requirements against performance criteria

The Ingredients for Success

• A strong commitment to safe working practices and a proven history of following work instructions, procedures and policies
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Current LF Forklift license with reach experience
• Basic MS Office and WMS skills, Pronto ERP knowledge an advantage but not necessary
• Adequate literacy and numeracy skills to read and follow safe work practices and warehouse documentation 
• Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week 7am to 3pm with occasional overtime
• Ability to occasionally work at our Rowville site
• The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision as well as work effectively within a team environment
• High levels of punctuality and attendance
