While the successful candidate may have prior project manager experience, it is their prior experience as a business owner/ leader, initiative owner or in agile leadership/ execution that will be key to success in this role.Min. 5 years relevant delivery experience including involvement in change and technical projects, and clear examples of business outcomes achieved.Strong stakeholder management experience - effective at all levels from Board, Senior Leadership to Team, employee and customer.Evidence of self-driven learning and the ongoing acquisition of new delivery skills and techniques.Desired Skills and ExperienceJob DescriptionLead Implementation: Drive the delivery of selected enterprise projects while building overall execution capability to enable the delivery of other projects and initiatives.Lead and champion key projects, including technical data, technology and insurance projects, ensuring objectives are met, roadblocks are dismantled, timeframes are achieved and required changes are operationalised/ embedded in the business.Build overall execution capability through:Facilitation of workshops and coaching of others to ensure effectively participation.Planning, scheduling, goal/ milestone/ roadmap development, progress reporting.Providing coaching, challenge, recommendations and support to teams.Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to discern and align project requirements, priorities, and objectives; and proactively communicate key updates, recommendations, changes and risks at all levels including teams, leadership and the Board.Disciplines and Governance: Facilitate project rhythms and disciplines to optimise execution; methodologies may include SteerCos, working groups, testing and quality processes, resource allocation and agile rhythms such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Vendor Management: Ensure external and internal stakeholders are tightly managed.Budget Tracking: Manage all projects within budget limitations and escalate budget risks.Sign-Off Coordination: Coordinate required stakeholder sign-offs and approvals.Stakeholder Coordination: Strong interaction with the technical team to ensure relevant input and assistance is provided for effective delivery.Conflict Resolution: Proactively resolve conflicts arising from competing priorities, stakeholder perspectives and resource constraints.Risk Management: Identifying risks affecting delivery of project outcomes and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of the project/s. This includes proactively initiating fixes, solutions and improvements.Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in project methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements.
