This exciting opportunity will see you be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the annual category marketing strategies across all Energy products and activities (Solar & Battery, Home EV Chargers, EV Charge Network) to ensure effective and efficient targets are set and growth aspirations are achieved. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Growth Marketing and will be responsible for directly leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and performance of annual category communications for RAA Products within the Energy category. In addition, you will: 

  • Lead collaboration to drive successful achievement of performance objectives.
  • Deliver on strategic frameworks and process to ensure the team has an intimate knowledge of their products to identify trends, opportunities and threats, and communicate what is occurring in the market to stakeholders.
  • Lead to the planning, development and implementation of annual and longer-term growth marketing business plans, including market-oriented diagnosis and strategic planning (segmentation, targeting, and positioning).
  • Ensure that the Energy & Innovation Category Marketing department operates within annual expenditure budgets.
  • In collaboration with the Campaign team, ensure planned advertising and media delivers on the category strategies and marketing objectives, and report on campaign performance.
  • Delivery of reporting frameworks to monitor and track all category performance metrics, with a particular focus on providing top line growth in key product areas, including post-campaign analysis.
  • Deliver exceptional and professional service to members and internal/external customers by identifying, responding to, and satisfying their needs.

For this role, we’re also looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications with a degree in marketing, business or similar.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing and / or category management, with demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and preparing strategic category plans.
  • Experience in marketing across a diverse range of products and services.
  • Ability to develop, communicate and execute on Strategic Marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with and interpret data.
  • Skilled performer in leading efforts around product and service category segmentation, positioning, targeting, and objective setting.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and provide effective indirect leadership to other employees.
  • Knowledge of the Energy category beneficial.
