This role will be responsible to build relationships with current and new businesses in the North & Northwest of Tasmania 

Work & Training are one of the largest employers of trainees and apprentices in Tasmania, and also one of the largest private providers of training and assessment in the state.

We engage with individuals, businesses and communities to create pathways to employment across Tasmania.

Essential Requirements

  • Be a superb communicator, with the networking skills and drive to connect our services to growth markets.
  • Ability to engage with industry and strengthen relationships with a new and existing employer base.
  • Proven Sales ability that secures new business with a strong focus on successful outcomes.
  • Understand the role of precise targeting to clients who best match our service profile, with a focus on GTO and RTO Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Ability to identify skills gaps and workforce needs.
  • Able to attend industry and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars.
  • Ability to promote our services in colleges and attract students to apprenticeships and traineeships.
  • Current valid driver's licence.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.

Desirable requirements

  • Previous (GTO) Group Training Organisation and/or (RTO) Registered Training Organisation experience.
  • Knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector.
