Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager Health Promotion Partnerships, the Strategic Partnership Officer - Healthway is responsible for coordinating the administration, development and implmentation of health promotion projects and one-off funding initiatives.
This role has the following key areas of focus:

• Health promotion projects, including that relating to Healthway’s Partnership and Healthy Communities Program management
• Providing advice and information to potential applicants and relevant organisations
• Working with funded organisations to maximise health promotion returns
• Development and implementation of special health promotion funding initiatives
• Contributing to the overall work of Healthway

Selection Criteria * Sound knowledge of health promotion and evaluation issues and methods.

• Demonstrated experience and skills in planning, and coordinating health promotion programs.
• Considerable experience in funding programs, grant systems and accountability requirements.
• Demonstrated well-developed oral and interpersonal communication skills, including experience in collaborating and facilitating partnerships.
• Well-developed writing skills with demonstrated experience in preparing reports.

Police Clearance
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Required Qualification
This role requires a Tertiary qualification in a health related area/behavioural science (or appropriate equivalent post graduate qualification) and or 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
