Job Description:
Could you be our next Strategic Sourcing Analyst?
Your primary goal will be to facilitate knowledge exchange between Food and Paper Management (FMG) and McDonald’s, fostering improvements in beef expertise and enhancing oversight within the beef supply chain. You'll provide invaluable analytical support to our Strategic Sourcing Team, centralising processes, optimising reporting, and increasing efficiency and accuracy.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
  • Act as the subject matter expert on forward beef pricing, collaborating with FMG and suppliers
  • Monitor supply outlook for raw materials and contribute to beef forecasting efforts
  • Conduct variance analysis and global reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare and manage beef forecasts, attending market calls and reviewing pricing forecasts
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing Team to centralise tasks, driving efficiency and accuracy
  • Review various documents and liaise with stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy of information
  • Drive enhancements in reporting and processes, focusing on areas such as equalisation and variance account preparation
  • Review and optimise reporting on import/freight tracking, lead time/safety stock reporting, and stock management
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data
  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Proactive and outcome-focused approach to tasks
  • Curiosity and resilience, with a willingness to ask questions and explore new ideas
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Great at building strong relationships with co-workers, stakeholders and third parties
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including Excel, and ability to leverage systems and data for process automation
