Founded in 1999 and located in Sydney’s inner west, SDA Structures are a dynamic, innovative and multi award winning structural engineering consultancy. We are highly regarded in the industry and specialise in bespoke and high-end architectural projects across Australia.

We work with some of Australia’s leading architects on high-profile and award-winning projects, such as the MCA extension, Australian Museum Crystal Hall, Taronga Zoo and Prince Alfred Park Pool.
What we are looking for
- Appropriately qualified Structural Draftsperson with 2+ years of experience in a design office
- Proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit.
- Highly knowledgeable of NCC and Australian Standards requirements
- Be able to understand and interpret both structural and architectural drawings
- Strong attention to detail in the preparation of structural drawings for a variety of structures, from concept through to detailed design and documentation. Also be happy to pick up a pencil to sketch out a problem.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for assigned work scope and associated deliverables.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
About the role
You play a critical role collaborating with the engineering team to deliver accurate and detailed drawings to the client’s expectations, for a wide range of projects using AutoCAD and Revit. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop and maintain a schedule for assigned work and associated deliverables, and you will provide appropriate technical advice and support to key areas of the business.
