Structural Engineer

AME Offshore Solutions, a leading provider of equipment and engineering solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to project teams and clients.
• Perform detailed Structural Engineering calculations and analysis.
• Assist in the development of technical general arrangements and fabrication drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and practices.
• Work on a variety of projects including rig and vessel modifications, seafastening, design of structures for interfacing, installation analysis, lifting analysis, rigging design, strength checks, equipment design, and participation in design, constructability and operability reviews.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas offshore sector;
• Experience in Structural Steel Design;
• Proficient in structural analysis software and tools, preferably SpaceGass, MathCAD, and Excel;
• Familiar with offshore design codes from DNV, API, AISC etc;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full working rights in Australia are essential. Applicants that do not have appropriate working rights in Australia will be automatically rejected.
