AddressNB Structural Detailing provides Structural Steelwork and precast panel detailing services. We are currently seeking Structural Steelwork detailers to join our small team.
About NB Structural Detailing:
NB Structural Detailing was established in South Australia in 2020 by brothers Micah and Jeshua Miller. We aim to provide superior service and communication to our clients, along with high quality detailed drawings. With both Directors formerly managing a Structural Steelwork subcontracting company, we have an understanding of exactly what our clients need and what their clients expect from them in regard to detailing.
About the role:
Our Structural Steelwork detailers are responsible for the modelling & shop drawing of steel structures using the latest version of Tekla Structures, working either individually or as a team. A summary of responsibilities are:
- Your primary role will be 3D modelling of steel structures using Tekla Structures.
- Production of site marking plans, workshop drawings of assemblies, shafts & plates are largely handled by other members of the team.
- Communicate with our project lead regarding any issues which arise.
- The management & creation of RFIs and liasing with our clients will be handled by our project lead with no need of our detailers to deal with this process.
- Our works mainly consist of warehousing and medium-large commercial projects. We are also regularly engaged in early design development for larger projects.
What we offer:
- 100% work from home position - interstate candidates may apply.
- Salary of between $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, plus superannuation. Experience will play a key role in your salary.
- High-end PC with an ultrawide monitor for both work use and personal use outside of work for candidates in South Australia. For interstate candidates, we will instead provide an allowance for you to maintain your hardware to a high standard for efficient use of detailing software.
- Flexible full time working hours. We offer a project-based approach and with RFIs/coordination being handled by the project lead, our detailers may work on any day at any time, rather than on a set schedule.
About you:
Successful candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in Tekla Structures detailing Structural Steelwork in all aspects, primarily including modelling, creation of site and workshop drawings and producing relevant fabrication documentation, such as reports, NC files, etc.
- Experience with PEB/CEBs highly regarded, but not essential.
- Ability to manage your own time in order to keep to project timelines.
- Effective & thorough communication.
- Willingness to detail to a high standard, accept feedback and adjust to our company's detailing styles.
- Open to Australian residents only, South Australian residents preferred.
